About The Position

Bethany Village Assisted Living is hiring a full-time weekend-option Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), working Saturdays and Sundays from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The nurse will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive, compassionate presence and collaboration with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated care and help create a respectful, positive work environment. Candidates should have a passion for geriatric nursing and demonstrate the organization’s C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Manage medications proficiently.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
