About The Position

This is a travel, temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Clovis, New Mexico. The assignment starts on 08/31/2026 and lasts for 6 weeks. The role involves providing bedside LPN care to residents during the night shift, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and documenting nursing actions. The nurse will observe and report changes in resident condition, assist with daily living activities, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Accurate documentation, adherence to infection control protocols, and compliance with licensed practice standards are essential.

Requirements

Active LPN license in good standing (New Mexico) or eligible for licensure per state requirements
Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent credential
Availability for night shifts: 18:00–06:30, 3x12-hour shifts
Local candidates only
Ability to participate in a 6-week travel assignment with guaranteed weekly hours

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred

Responsibilities

Provide bedside LPN care to residents during the night shift according to physician orders and individualized care plans
Monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments as allowed by scope of practice, and document nursing actions
Observe and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse; escalate concerns promptly per policy
Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a safe, clean, and respectful environment
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and adherence to care plans
Maintain accurate documentation, follow infection control protocols, and comply with all licensed practice standards
