LVN - Family Practice Clinic
About The Position
GiaCare is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support the McClellan Air Force Satellite Clinic in McClellan, California. The position provides comprehensive services to members of the military community in a collaborative outpatient environment. The LPN/LVN coordinates care across inpatient, outpatient, community, and telephonic settings to support continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., based on a 40-hour work week. Typical duties include work in primary care, women's health, and mental health; assessing patient conditions; administering vaccines and immunizations; recognizing adverse signs and symptoms; and ordering labs and X-rays.
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) licensure.
- One year of experience as an LVN in a primary care clinic within the last 24 months.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or military equivalence.
Responsibilities
