About The Position

Hickory Creek at Sunset is hiring a Weekend Option Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their stories and use nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position calls for a supportive presence, teamwork, leadership, collaboration with nursing and facility teams, and strong interpersonal communication. Requirements

• Hold a current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
