About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The position is listed as PRN days at a Las Vegas LTACH. Requirements
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
- Hold current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments is preferred.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment is preferred.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care is preferred.
Responsibilities
