About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care on the nursing unit as directed by an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a PRN rotating position at the Texarkana LTACH. Requirements
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Hold current BLS certification; certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Obtain current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
