About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care as directed by a Registered Nurse on the nursing unit. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The position is PRN with a rotating schedule at the Texarkana LTACH. Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
