About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides appropriate nursing care as directed by a registered nurse on the nursing unit. Care includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The nurse also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. This is a PRN days position at PAM Health’s Denver LTACH. Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred.
- Greater comfort working with ventilators, tracheostomies, PICC lines, and similar equipment preferred.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care preferred.
Responsibilities
