Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long Term Care Job
About The Position
This travel assignment places you in a long-term care setting, delivering patient-centered care to residents while collaborating with the health care team. You will provide direct, compassionate care to residents within the long-term care setting, following LPN scope of practice. Responsibilities include monitoring, documenting, and reporting patient status, including vital signs, medication administration, and response to treatments. You will also assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort. Collaboration with registered nurses and the interdisciplinary team to implement and update individualized care plans is essential. You will respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating concerns to the supervising clinician as needed, and maintain accurate documentation in the charting system while adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Ability to meet standard compliance and safety requirements for a travel assignment
- Eligibility to work in the United States and participate in a travel assignment
