Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
State licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer service skills, including communication, listening, and teamwork.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Selling skills and ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators.
Willingness to embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

Welcome customers and set expectations.
Custom-fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
Serve as a leader in optical acumen.
Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear, and ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Use technology accurately under time pressure and during periods of high customer volume; maintain strong product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
Proactively identify root causes of issues, anticipate needs, and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations.
Multi-task, prioritize, and manage time across competing priorities.
Work toward exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
Help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Pursue continual learning and improvement, and demonstrate resourcefulness, self-motivation, and a focus on results.
Follow company policies and procedures, including those for discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
