About The Position

A-MAX Insurance is hiring a Licensed Insurance Producer for an in-office role in Folsom, California. The position focuses on helping customers with insurance needs, developing new business, and completing administrative work. The ideal candidate has a strong sales mindset, good organizational and interpersonal skills, and a customer-focused approach. A-MAX provides intensive paid training, licensing assistance, and ongoing career support. Compensation is whichever is higher: hourly pay or up to 55% uncapped commission.

Requirements

• Valid and current California Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license.
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision and quickly learn company and proprietary software.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Customer service or insurance sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Spanish-English bilingual ability preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with new insurance policies, changes to existing policies, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and questions.
• Inspect vehicles and evaluate their general condition, age, and other characteristics to determine whether they are acceptable insurance risks.
• Seek new clients, generate prospective-client lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing.
• Work with the office manager to develop marketing strategies for attracting new customers.
• Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
• Complete continuing education courses required to maintain an active license with the California Department of Insurance.
