About The Position

Day One Insurance Group, an independently owned Allstate Elite Agency, is hiring a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Rep focused on retaining existing customers. The role handles cancellation and rate-increase calls, reviews coverage and discounts to find suitable options within Allstate, and follows up on pending cancellations and lapses. The position is a service role with no sales quota; occasional cross-sell opportunities pay 10% uncapped commission.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the agency’s Tyler, Texas office. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. Candidates with at least three years of Allstate experience are offered $22 per hour; exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered at $20 per hour. Retention bonuses are available when retention improves. The employee will work for Sharie Withers Agency, LLC, doing business as Day One Insurance Group, not directly for Allstate Insurance Co.

Requirements

• Active property and casualty (P&C) license.
• Allstate agency experience; three or more years is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to remain calm, persuasive, and confident with frustrated customers.
• Ability to work in the Tyler office.

Responsibilities
