About The Position

As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you guide clients through beauty services and product discovery, sharing expertise, inspiration, and education. You provide services at the Beauty Studio and help create a welcoming, enjoyable shopping experience. This is a regular, part-time hourly position requiring an active state license for the services performed. The role requires working during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and meeting the minimum part-time schedule of 15–29 hours per week.

Requirements

Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented environment.
Ability to quickly absorb and effectively share product knowledge.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to meet the part-time minimum schedule of 15–29 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
Maintain an active license and uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours, and demonstrate punctuality and consistent attendance.
