About The Position

As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you’ll guide clients through their beauty journeys at the Beauty Studio and beyond. The role combines beauty expertise and personalized service with teaching, inspiration, and product recommendations. You’ll join a diverse, supportive team and help create an inclusive, enjoyable shopping experience. This is a regular part-time, hourly position. Part-time employees are expected to work 15–29 hours per week and be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is based at the Sephora store in Houston Galleria, Houston, Texas.

Requirements

Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively in a goal-oriented environment.
Ability to learn and share product knowledge effectively.
Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Punctuality and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
Maintain an active license and uphold hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours, and maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
