Licensed Beauty Advisor - Part Time
About The Position
As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you’ll guide clients on their beauty journeys at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You’ll provide beauty services, share product and trend knowledge, and create an inclusive, enjoyable client experience through teaching, inspiration, and personalized service. This is a regular, part-time, hourly position at Sephora’s Pembroke Gardens store in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Part-time employees work 15–29 hours per week and must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours. Availability during peak retail operations—including nights, weekends, and holidays—and punctual, consistent attendance are required. The role requires an active state license for the services performed, which include waxing, makeup, and false application services. Employees must maintain their license and follow hygiene, health, and safety protocols. The position involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. Requirements
- Hold an active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Have strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
- Demonstrate personalized client service and an ability to build lasting relationships.
- Be a collaborative team player who thrives in a goal-oriented environment.
- Be a quick learner who can absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, serving clients, and selling products.
- Perform makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain an active license and uphold hygiene, health, and safety protocols.
