Licensed Beauty Advisor - Part Time
About The Position
As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you guide clients on their beauty journeys at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You provide beauty expertise, education, inspiration, and personalized service while helping clients enjoy their experience. You’ll work with a diverse, supportive team and contribute to a welcoming beauty community. The role involves providing makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu, helping achieve store goals through services, rebooking, and product sales, and maintaining an active license and health and safety standards. Part-time employees work 15–29 hours per week and must be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays. The hourly pay range is $21.75–$24.88. Actual pay depends on relevant qualifications and experience, as well as other legitimate, non-discriminatory position- or location-specific factors. Requirements
- Hold an active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
- Have 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Have strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
- Demonstrate the ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
- Be a team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
- Be a quick learner who can absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- For part-time employment, work 15–29 hours per week and be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
