Licensed Beauty Advisor - Part Time
About The Position
As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you’ll guide clients on their beauty journeys at the Beauty Studio and beyond. The role combines beauty expertise and client service with teaching, inspiration, and product recommendations. You’ll join a supportive, collaborative team and help create an inclusive and enjoyable shopping experience. This is a regular, part-time, hourly position. Part-time employees work 15–29 hours per week and must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours. Availability during peak retail operations—including nights, weekends, and holidays—and punctual, consistent attendance are required.
Requirements
- An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
- Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, goal-oriented environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Punctuality and consistent attendance; must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours.
Responsibilities
- Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, serving clients, and selling products.
- Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
- Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
- Maintain an active license and uphold health and safety and hygiene protocols.
- Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
