About The Position

As a Licensed Beauty Advisor at Sephora, you guide clients on their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You provide expert advice, teach and inspire clients, and help create an enjoyable, inclusive experience. The role combines beauty services, product sales, client relationship-building, and teamwork. Part-time schedules are 15–29 hours per week, and the position requires availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where services are performed.
1–3 years of experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, goal-oriented environment.
Ability to learn quickly and absorb and share product knowledge effectively.
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, serving clients, and selling products.
Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu.
Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients.
Maintain active licensure and uphold health and safety protocols.
Promote an open, inclusive culture where everyone feels empowered.
Follow company policies and Sephora standards to help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience.
Meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours.
Be available during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance.
