About The Position

The Leasing Specialist provides customer service and sales support at Legacy Villas Apartments. The role involves welcoming residents and prospective residents, understanding their needs, presenting the community, handling inquiries, maintaining the presentation of the office and property amenities, completing paperwork, and supporting resident relations. The position is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday. The role offers the opportunity to earn leasing commissions in accordance with the property's commission plan.

Requirements

Excellent organization and telephone etiquette skills.
Solid and consistent work history with excellent references.
Genuine enjoyment of working with people and helping others.
Self-motivation, high energy, and a proven ability to close.
Team-oriented approach and a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Prior apartment leasing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and prospective residents and provide superior customer service.
Qualify prospective residents, determine their needs and preferences, and professionally present the community.
Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
Ensure the office, models, and amenities are show-ready each day.
Complete paperwork accurately and with attention to detail.
Conduct market surveys and regularly shop competing properties.
Participate in ongoing resident relations and functions.
Accept resident service requests and route them to the service department for prompt processing.
Enter traffic, telephone calls, and other daily activity into the computer.
Provide excellent customer service and follow-up.
