About The Position

Gorman is seeking a full-time Leasing Specialist for Cumberland Towers, a 178-unit affordable housing community in Little Rock, Arkansas, that works with LIHTC, RAD PBV, and NSP. The role manages the leasing process from initial inquiries through application and move-in, supports affordable housing program requirements, and works with the property management team to provide a responsive, welcoming experience for prospective and current residents.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of leasing, multifamily housing, sales, or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A customer service mindset and the ability to connect with a wide variety of people.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities.

• Affordable housing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments in alignment with company policies, affordable housing requirements, and Fair Housing guidelines.
• Conduct community tours and provide a personalized experience to prospective residents.
• Build relationships with prospects, residents, vendors, and team members.
• Follow up with prospects and help convert leads to signed leases.
• Support outreach marketing, community networking, and competitor research.
• Assist with move-in and move-out processes.
• Answer calls, enter service requests, and maintain records.
• Support compliance processes and coordinate with internal teams as needed.
