About The Position

Greystar is hiring an experienced Leasing Professional for The Frankie, a 120-unit mid-rise apartment community in Portland’s historic Brooklyn neighborhood. The role is important to the community’s success and centers on delivering excellent customer service, supporting leasing activity, and creating positive experiences for prospects and residents. The community includes light-filled homes with air conditioning, quartz countertops, and matte black appliances, along with amenities such as a makerspace, whiskey lounge, co-working space, fitness studio, outdoor BBQ area, and bike repair station. The Leasing Professional conducts in-person and virtual tours, follows up with prospects, assists with lease renewals, responds to resident concerns, and supports marketing and community events. The role offers an hourly range of $20.00–$22.00, may be eligible for onsite bonus programs, and includes benefits and perks for full-time employees. Onsite housing discounts are subject to discount and unit availability.

Requirements

A positive, can-do attitude is required.
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
Ability to complete legal documents, sell and explain apartment features, and answer resident questions.
High level of professionalism in manner and dress.

Nice To Haves

Previous sales and customer service experience is desired.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
Experience with property management software such as Yardi or One Site.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service as part of a team.
Conduct prospect building and apartment tours, including virtual and in-person tours.
Help ensure a positive move-in experience for customers.
Conduct market research on comparable properties for marketing and advertising purposes.
Plan and execute community events.
Follow up with prospects by phone and email.
Use social media and internet platforms to market available units.
Assist with lease renewals.
Respond to resident concerns.
