About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing apartments, assisting with marketing the Green on 4th apartment community, and maintaining positive relations with prospects and residents. Green on 4th is a 243-unit community located near the University of Minnesota in Prospect Park, SE Minneapolis.

The role includes greeting prospects, answering questions, showing the property and available apartments, processing leases and renewals, keeping availability reports current, responding to resident feedback, helping host resident functions, and participating in marketing activities. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a sales-oriented role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Superior sales ability.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Some college-level education.
• At least 6 months of on-site leasing experience, or a combination of customer service and sales experience and education.
• YARDI experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet prospects and assist them with questions and paperwork.
• Tour the property and target apartments or model units.
• Update apartment availability reports as needed.
• Process leases, renewals, and other related paperwork.
• Listen to resident requests, complaints, and comments.
• Collaborate in planning and hosting resident functions.
• Participate in obtaining and/or distributing marketing information.
