About The Position

The Leasing Consultant is the first point of contact for prospective residents and helps convert leasing leads into signed leases. The role involves connecting with prospects, presenting the community and its apartments, explaining features and pricing, and guiding prospects through the leasing process. The Leasing Consultant works with the property manager and team to achieve leasing goals, support marketing efforts, and provide strong resident experiences. The position is offered full-time or part-time and may require weekend work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in leasing, retail, hospitality, or sales.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills.
• Basic technology and CRM/computer proficiency.
• Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to work weekends may be required.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
• Organized, comfortable interacting with people, and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and tour prospective residents, building rapport.
• Showcase apartments and explain features, benefits, and pricing.
• Respond promptly to leads by phone, email, and in person.
• Follow up with prospects and guide them through the leasing process.
• Close leases by securing applications and deposits.
• Keep the leasing office, show units, and tour paths presentable.
• Assist with marketing, events, outreach, and community engagement.
• Enter data, maintain organized files, and support daily operations.
