Leasing Consultant (Melody on Main)
About The Position
Mark-Taylor is hiring a Leasing Consultant for Melody on Main in Mesa, Arizona. The consultant represents Mark-Taylor at the community and delivers exceptional customer service to current residents and prospective residents. The role includes welcoming visitors, conducting property tours, guiding prospective residents through the application process, and supporting the day-to-day leasing and resident experience. The position offers a base pay of $20.00 per hour, with eligibility for bonuses based on achievement of operational metrics. Full-time employees are offered the listed benefits. Employees undergo pre-employment screening, including drug testing. Housing discounts are subject to availability at each community.
Requirements
- At least one year of sales or customer service experience.
- Comfort and ability to resolve conflict and provide a high level of customer care.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time-management and organizational skills.
- Goal-oriented, self-starter work ethic.
- Basic understanding of written and verbal English.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s and/or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome prospective and current residents and provide an exceptional experience throughout their interactions with the community.
- Conduct detailed, informative tours for prospective residents.
- Guide prospective residents through the complete application process and follow up regarding application status.
- Create positive experiences for current and future residents through email, telephone, in-person, and other communication channels.
- Maintain resident files, accept rental payments, and manage apartment availability and pricing.
- Help create a high-quality community experience for residents and fellow employees.
- Take ownership and pride in the property, maintaining Mark-Taylor’s standards for curb appeal, attention to detail, resident experience, and culture.
