About The Position

Claremont Companies is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support its Viva Lakeshore residential property in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The role provides a personalized leasing experience for prospective tenants, builds relationships with current residents, maintains engaging social media, and assists with resident events. Claremont Companies is a privately owned real estate investment, development, and asset management firm headquartered in Bridgewater, with more than 60 real estate assets.

Requirements

One to two years of leasing or other relevant sales experience.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar programs.
Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Previous apartment leasing experience.
Yardi software experience; desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Meet with prospective tenants, tour units, and highlight the benefits of the units and property.
Assist with creating and setting up resident events.
Create and maintain a social media presence.
Prepare and execute lease documents in accordance with property standards and regulations.
Conduct credit and background checks on potential tenants.
Verify information and references provided by potential tenants on applications.
Collect application fees and security deposits from potential tenants and monthly rental payments from existing tenants.
Negotiate lease renewals, including communicating changes to prices or terms.
Coordinate necessary property maintenance and resolve tenant complaints.
Inform residents about changes to rental agreements, upcoming events, and property-related issues.
Create marketing and promotional materials to advertise vacant units.
Monitor use of community facilities and common areas, including the office, pool, laundry, mail, and fitness centers.
