About The Position

Trinity Property Consultants is hiring a Leasing Consultant for Arrive Michigan Avenue. The role is the face of the property, delivering exceptional service to prospective and current residents while meeting leasing goals and supporting a welcoming community. The position offers an hourly wage of $24 to $25, depending on experience, plus lease commissions and lease-renewal bonuses. The stated schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; availability for nights, weekends, and holidays may also be needed. The position supports leasing, resident services, property operations, and administration, and requires work indoors and outdoors in varied weather.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts constructively.
Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors under varied weather conditions.
Ability to respond promptly to visual and auditory alarms.
Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 25 pounds independently and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

Show, lease, and welcome prospective residents to the property.
Assist with market surveys and execute marketing strategies to maintain strong occupancy.
Process rental applications accurately and efficiently.
Guide residents through move-in to ensure a smooth experience.
Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns.
Process maintenance requests and coordinate with the team to help ensure timely resolution.
Maintain complete and accurate resident files.
Update unit availability and community calendars daily.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure units meet move-in-ready standards.
Support property management with administrative duties, phone support, and other tasks as needed.
Conduct move-out inspections and assist with property turnover procedures.
Handle resident collections in accordance with company standards.
Participate in team functions and regional or company activities.
