About The Position

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring a full-time, on-site Leasing Consultant for The Retreat at Walnut Creek Apartments in Kansas City, Missouri. The role focuses on providing customer service to prospective and existing tenants, leasing and renewing apartments, preparing leasing documentation, supporting marketing and community outreach, and building relationships with residents. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., depending on the season, with Saturdays as needed depending on occupancy. Pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience. Pre-employment criminal background and drug screenings are required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience in multifamily housing, sales, or customer service.
Good computer skills and the ability to navigate various software programs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Yardi, RentCafe, or CRMiQ.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist prospective and existing tenants.
Conduct tours of the property, apartment units, and on-site amenities.
Lease vacant apartments to new residents.
Renew leasing contracts with existing residents.
Create and facilitate leasing documentation and contracts.
Assist the property team with marketing efforts.
Participate in community outreach to build brand awareness.
Foster and maintain relationships with on-site residents.
