About the position
The Training Manager (APAC) will be responsible for onboarding/orientation, role-specific training, and certification processes for Study Delivery employees. They will evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, assess developmental training needs, and make recommendations to managers and trainers. The ideal candidate should have experience in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects autonomously. This role will collaborate with other departments to design cross-training programs and ensure that all employees responsible for Study Delivery are adequately trained.
Responsibilities
- Assess employee development needs and advise on individualized training plans to address those needs
- Collaborate with other departments to design and implement cross-training programs
- Facilitate, manage, plan and execute Endpoint Academy 101 (Foundational New Hire Onboarding) for all APAC-based new hires on a semi-quarterly basis
- Maintain a current understanding of performance objectives of APAC-based roles to best support their growth
- Partner directly with the Associate Director of Community Learning & Engagement to deploy the onboarding certification program(s) for applicable client services roles
- Monitor employee progress and revise training programs as needed to ensure maximum effectiveness
- Recommend changes to training programs based on feedback from employees who have completed the programs
- Ensure that all employees responsible for Study Delivery are adequately trained in the foundational aspects of their jobs, including but not limited to, endpoint Clinical products and services, technical processes, on-the-job required skills and knowledge
- Measure development continuously to build and execute training programs
Requirements
- Assess employee development needs and create individualized training plans

- Facilitate and execute new hire onboarding program on a semi-quarterly basis
- Stay updated on performance objectives of APAC-based roles to support their growth
- Deploy onboarding certification program for applicable client services roles
- Monitor employee progress and make revisions to training programs as needed
- Incorporate feedback from employees to recommend changes to training programs
- Collaborate with US-based L&D Team to ensure consistency in employee onboarding and development globally
- Ensure all Study Delivery employees are adequately trained in foundational aspects of their jobs
- Continuously measure development and create training programs accordingly

- 5+ years of experience in relevant roles
- 1-2 years of people management experience
- Experience in developing and managing training plans
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms, learning management systems, and instructional design
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Proven track record of designing and delivering successful adult learning programs
- Competence in ADDIE and ATD training methodologies
- Ability to identify needs through formal assessments and exercise critical thinking
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced role
