About The Position

ProSidian seeks a Leading Without Authority Training Course Instructor for Program Support on an Exempt 1099 Contract basis, with no overtime pay. This role is hybrid, involving both on-site and virtual work, primarily in the Southeast region (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery) supporting Army Reserve civilian leadership development and training. The position is aligned with GSA Labor Category: Content Subject Matter Expert/Instructor II, focusing on Civilian Training Services for the DOD/Military sector. The ideal candidate will have relevant DOD/Military Sector experience. This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 position, with the possibility of conversion to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position. The role involves providing services and support as a Leading Without Authority Training Course Instructor within the DOD/Military Industry Sector, focusing on Human Capital solutions for clients like the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC). The program aims to develop influence, relationship-building, and collaborative leadership skills necessary for environments with limited formal authority. Participants will learn to leverage credibility, expertise, communication, and strategic partnerships to gain support, solve challenges, and drive mission-focused outcomes. Learning objectives include developing influence and persuasion skills, building stakeholder support, strengthening communication and negotiation, enhancing relationship management, fostering collaboration, leading initiatives without formal authority, and gaining commitment to organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Primarily focused on Professional and Management Development Training initiatives and aligned with Program Support activities Leading Without Authority Training Functional Area Activities.
  • Facilitation, adult learning, communication, curriculum delivery, virtual instruction, assessment.

  • Leading Without Authority professional specialty Requires expertise in influence without positional authority, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, persuasion, relationship management, and collaborative leadership.

  • Supports USARC CPMO Civilian Leadership & Development Program
  • Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate is advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, and proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio with the ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
