About The Position

ProSidian is seeking a Communication Training Course Instructor for Professional Communication and Organizational Effectiveness. This role supports Program Support on an Exempt 1099 Contract basis, with a hybrid work model (on/off client site and virtual delivery). The position is generally located across the Southeast (Fort Bragg, NC/Virtual Delivery) and the U.S. East Coast Region, supporting Army Reserve civilian leadership development and training. The instructor will be aligned with the GSA Labor Category: Training Design Specialist / Instructor Level II, focusing on Civilian Training Services for the DOD/Military sector. This role is ideal for candidates with relevant DOD/Military Sector Experience. The position is a Contract Contingent or Contract W-2 (IRS-1099) role, with the possibility of conversion to a Full-Time ProSidian employed W-2 Position. The core function is to deliver communication learning solutions that enhance workforce readiness, leadership effectiveness, and mission performance. The program develops verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills for professional and mission-focused environments, utilizing facilitated discussions, coaching, scenario-based learning, and applied activities to improve collaboration, workplace relationships, and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

5–10+ years professional training, facilitation, instructional delivery, or military/civilian workforce development
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
NACI eligibility required
Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office (advanced with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficient with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio; and able to quickly learn other tools as needed)
Commitment to work with intelligent, interesting people with diverse backgrounds to solve the most significant challenges across private, public, and social sectors
Inquisitive nature and ability to question the status quo
Humility, exhibiting grace in success and failure while doing meaningful work where skills have an impact and make a difference

Responsibilities

Develop lesson plans
Facilitate classroom and virtual instruction
Conduct assessments
Provide coaching and feedback
Support curriculum updates and survey-driven improvements
Integrates LMS platforms, audio/visual technologies, interactive exercises, and performance-based learning methodologies
Provides 1 Day (8 Hours) Instructor-Led Training (ILT) / Virtual Engagements serving as a Training Design Specialist / Instructor Level II Mid-Senior Instructor / Facilitator aligned with NAICS: 611430 - Professional and Management Development Training and Knowledge Management
Requires instruction in verbal, non-verbal, written, interpersonal, intercultural, and electronic communication skills with practical exercises and assessments
