About The Position
Garney is hiring a Lead Trackhoe operator. The role operates machinery for excavation, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final cleanup. The operator may also perform laborer functions as needed. Candidates must have previous construction experience and be willing to travel and work overtime.
Requirements
- Previous construction experience.
- Five years of construction experience operating a CAT 339 or bigger.
- Firm knowledge of equipment operations and maintenance.
- Must be able to work overtime.
- Must be willing to travel.
Responsibilities
- Operate an excavator safely as part of a crew.
- Perform operator-level maintenance on the machine.
- Understand safe working loads and signals.
- Handle trench boxes of all sizes and shapes.
- Perform activities such as excavating, backfilling, trenching, ditching, clearing, looming, fine grading, and final cleanup.
- Perform laborer functions as required.
