Klaviyo•San Francisco, CA
•$132,000 - $198,000

About The Position

Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Technical Project Manager for its GTM Systems team, which builds and operates systems supporting marketing, sales, partnerships, customer success, and services. The role owns delivery of high-impact, complex GTM systems programs from intake through launch and hypercare, including initiatives such as CPQ replacement, quote-to-cash changes, customer success and support platform upgrades, and AI-enabled workflows spanning multiple business functions. The project manager translates ambiguous business goals into clear plans, sequences work across teams sharing core systems, and provides leadership with transparent updates on commitments, risks, and progress. The role works closely with analysts, developers, architects, vendors, Finance, and audit partners, and regularly presents to senior and executive leadership. It also contributes to bringing AI into GTM workflows and the team's delivery practices. The position will help establish an AI-first operating model for GTM Systems and practices for intake, planning, release management, and reporting. Programs have direct impact on how Klaviyo sells, bills, renews, and supports customers, with visibility to senior GTM, Finance, and executive leaders. The role may require up to 10% travel, coordinated in advance.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of technical program or project management, business systems delivery, or GTM/revenue systems experience at a SaaS company, with a record of owning large, multi-team programs end to end.
  • Deep working knowledge of GTM systems and processes, including lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, renewals and amendments, customer success and support, and professional services delivery.
  • Knowledge of how objects, data, and approvals flow between Salesforce, CPQ, billing/ERP, contracting, and support tools.
  • Experience delivering in a Salesforce-centric environment where multiple teams ship into a shared core system using a common release process.
  • Experience partnering with Finance, audit, or compliance functions on revenue-impacting systems and controls.
  • Strong technical fluency, including ability to read architecture diagrams, discuss integration and data-model trade-offs with developers, and identify delivery risks early.
  • Hands-on use of LLM tools, understanding of where AI and agents can help GTM workflows and where guardrails are needed, and interest in responsible team adoption.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with ability to drive outcomes through influence in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPQ implementations or replacements, quote-to-cash redesign, or billing/ERP integrations such as NetSuite.
  • Experience with customer success, support, or services platforms such as Gainsight, Zendesk, or Certinia, and contracting tools such as Ironclad.
  • Familiarity with SOX ITGC, revenue controls, or SOC reporting for vendor-hosted systems.
  • Experience establishing release management or CI/CD for a Salesforce org.
  • Exposure to agentic AI frameworks or MCP-based integrations in a business systems setting.
  • PMP, Salesforce, or similar certifications, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth software or AI company.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of the multi-quarter GTM systems roadmap, including intake, prioritization, scoping, sequencing, status, and operating cadence from discovery through launch and hypercare.
  • Lead cross-functional programs and manage dependencies across Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Customer Success, Services, Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering, including teams outside the role's reporting line.
  • Partner with engineers and architects on technical decisions, including trade-offs, build-versus-buy decisions, integration patterns, and vendor evaluations; document decisions and ensure they are defensible.
  • Work with Finance, Internal Audit, and Security to build and test controls for revenue-impacting systems work, including SOX/ITGC, access, change management, and audit traceability.
  • Manage vendors and implementation partners through joint project plans, steering committees, decision logs, and risk reviews, and hold partners accountable to commitments.
  • Help scope and deliver AI and agentic workflows into production, and use AI tools to improve planning, status reporting, testing, and documentation.
  • Establish intake, planning, release management, and reporting practices that can scale with the portfolio, and mentor teammates on program management craft.
  • Communicate scope, timeline, cost, risk, and decisions needed clearly to GTM Systems, GTM, Finance, and executive leaders, verbally and in writing.

Benefits

  • The total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, and sign-on payments.
  • Comprehensive health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
