About The Position

Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Technical Project Manager for its GTM Systems team. The team builds and operates systems supporting marketing, sales, partnerships, customer success, and services, including Salesforce, CPQ, billing and finance systems, customer success and support platforms, and professional services tools. The role will deliver complex, high-impact GTM systems programs and help shape an AI-first operating model for the team. The position owns programs from intake through launch and hypercare, including initiatives such as CPQ replacement, quote-to-cash changes, customer success and support platform upgrades, and AI-enabled workflows. The project manager translates ambiguous business goals into clear plans, sequences work across teams, drives technical decisions, manages dependencies and vendors, and gives stakeholders an accurate view of commitments, risks, and progress. The role partners closely with business systems analysts, developers, architects, Finance, Internal Audit, Security, and other business teams, and presents regularly to senior and executive leaders. The successful candidate will use AI tools to improve program delivery and help teams introduce AI and agentic workflows into production responsibly. They will establish scalable intake, planning, release management, and reporting practices, while mentoring teammates on program delivery.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in technical program or project management, business systems delivery, or GTM/revenue systems at a SaaS company, with a track record of owning large, multi-team programs end to end.
  • Deep working knowledge of GTM systems and processes, including lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, renewals and amendments, customer success and support, and professional services delivery.
  • Understanding of how objects, data, and approvals flow between Salesforce, CPQ, billing/ERP, contracting, and support tools.
  • Experience delivering in a Salesforce-centric environment where multiple teams ship into a shared core system using a common release process.
  • Experience partnering with Finance, audit, or compliance functions on revenue-impacting systems and controls.
  • Strong technical fluency, including the ability to read architecture diagrams, discuss integration and data-model trade-offs with developers, and identify delivery risks early.
  • Hands-on curiosity about AI, including use of LLM tools in one's work and an ability to discuss where AI and agents can help GTM workflows and where guardrails are needed.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to drive outcomes through influence in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPQ implementations or replacements, quote-to-cash redesign, or billing/ERP integrations such as NetSuite.
  • Experience with customer success, support, or services platforms such as Gainsight, Zendesk, or Certinia, and contracting tools such as Ironclad.
  • Familiarity with SOX ITGC, revenue controls, or SOC reporting for vendor-hosted systems.
  • Experience establishing release management or CI/CD for a Salesforce org.
  • Exposure to agentic AI frameworks or MCP-based integrations in a business systems setting.
  • PMP, Salesforce, or similar certifications, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth software or AI company.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of a multi-quarter GTM systems roadmap, including intake, prioritization, scoping, sequencing, status, operating cadence, discovery, launch, and hypercare.
  • Lead cross-functional programs and manage dependencies across Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Customer Success, Services, Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering, including teams that do not report directly to the role.
  • Drive technical decisions with engineers and architects, including trade-offs, build-versus-buy decisions, integration patterns, and vendor evaluations; ensure decisions are documented and defensible.
  • Partner with Finance, Internal Audit, and Security on revenue-impacting systems work, designing, testing, and evidencing SOX/ITGC, access, change-management, and audit-traceability controls.
  • Manage vendors and implementation partners through joint project plans, steering committees, decision logs, and risk reviews, and hold partners accountable to commitments.
  • Help scope and deliver AI and agentic workflows into production, and use AI tooling to improve planning, status reporting, testing, and documentation.
  • Establish scalable intake, planning, release-management, and reporting practices, and mentor teammates on program craft.
  • Communicate scope, timeline, cost, risk, progress, and required decisions clearly to GTM Systems, GTM, Finance, and executive leaders, both verbally and in writing.
