Lead Technical Project Manager, GTM Systems

Klaviyo•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Klaviyo is seeking a Lead Technical Project Manager for its GTM Systems team, which builds and operates the systems supporting marketing, sales, partnerships, customer success, and services. The role owns delivery of high-impact, complex GTM systems programs from intake through launch and hypercare, including work involving CPQ, quote-to-cash, customer success and support platforms, and AI-enabled workflows. The position translates ambiguous business goals into clear plans, coordinates delivery across teams working in shared core systems, and communicates commitments, risks, and progress to leaders. It works closely with business systems analysts, developers, architects, vendors, and Finance and audit partners, and presents regularly to senior and executive leadership. The role also brings AI into GTM workflows and delivery practices, and establishes scalable program, intake, planning, release management, and reporting practices.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of technical program or project management, business systems delivery, or GTM/revenue systems experience at a SaaS company, with a track record of owning large, multi-team programs end to end.
  • Deep working knowledge of GTM systems and processes, including lead-to-opportunity, quote-to-cash, renewals and amendments, customer success and support, and professional services delivery.
  • Understanding of how objects, data, and approvals flow between Salesforce, CPQ, billing/ERP, contracting, and support tools.
  • Experience delivering in a Salesforce-centric environment where multiple teams ship into a shared core system using a common release process.
  • Experience partnering with Finance, audit, or compliance functions on revenue-impacting systems and controls.
  • Strong technical fluency, including the ability to read architecture diagrams, discuss integration and data-model trade-offs with developers, and identify delivery risks early.
  • Hands-on curiosity about AI: use of LLM tools in personal work, credible understanding of where AI and agents can help GTM workflows and where guardrails are needed, and interest in responsible team adoption.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to drive outcomes through influence in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CPQ implementations or replacements, quote-to-cash redesign, or billing/ERP integrations such as NetSuite.
  • Experience with customer success, support, or services platforms such as Gainsight, Zendesk, or Certinia, and contracting tools such as Ironclad.
  • Familiarity with SOX ITGC, revenue controls, or SOC reporting for vendor-hosted systems.
  • Experience establishing release management or CI/CD for a Salesforce org.
  • Exposure to agentic AI frameworks or MCP-based integrations in a business systems setting.
  • PMP, Salesforce, or similar certifications, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth software or AI company.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end program delivery, including intake, prioritization, scoping, sequencing, status, and operating cadence for a multi-quarter GTM systems roadmap from discovery through launch and hypercare.
  • Lead cross-functional programs and manage dependencies across Sales, Deal Desk, RevOps, Customer Success, Services, Finance, Legal, Security, and Engineering, including teams that do not report to the role.
  • Drive technical decisions with engineers and architects, including trade-offs, build-versus-buy decisions, integration patterns, and vendor evaluations; ensure decisions are documented and defensible.
  • Partner with Finance, Internal Audit, and Security on revenue-impacting systems work, designing, testing, and evidencing controls such as SOX/ITGC, access, change management, and audit traceability.
  • Manage vendors and implementation partners through joint project plans, steering committees, decision logs, and risk reviews, and hold partners to commitments.
  • Help scope and deliver AI and agentic workflows into production, and use AI tooling to improve planning, status reporting, testing, and documentation.
  • Establish intake, planning, release management, and reporting practices that scale with the portfolio, and mentor teammates on program craft.
  • Communicate scope, timeline, cost, risk, progress, and decisions needed clearly to GTM Systems, GTM, Finance, and executive leaders, verbally and in writing.
