About The Position

The Lead Technical Program Manager, Implementations serves as scrum master for a cross-functional implementation team, planning and managing software implementations through delivery and go-live. This internal-facing role supports Cohere Health’s Product, Design, Data, and Engineering Department, including product, engineering, and technical services teams. The Program Manager owns the internal coordination, scheduling, scope, and technical build timelines for two to three concurrent customer implementations. The role creates and manages shared processes that reduce handoffs, cross-team friction, inefficiency, and risk; improve implementation quality and speed; provide clear visibility into project status, milestones, and dependencies; and reduce the burden on functional managers to track individual project details. The role may also partner with product and engineering management on projects aligned with the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and interests, such as engineering metrics reporting, bug management, dashboards, release-note process improvements, and Jira workflow standardization. This is a remote-first position with about 5% travel, including possible travel to Boston for new-hire onboarding and occasional in-person team meetings and company events.
