About The Position
The Lead Teacher at River Valley Montessori of Bloomington creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position calls for an energetic, dependable, passionate individual who is at least 18, can meet state education and childcare-center requirements, and is able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
