Daycare Lead Teacher-River Valley Montessori of Bloomington
About The Position
River Valley Montessori of Bloomington is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow teachers and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The position is for someone energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children. The teacher must be able to work indoors or outdoors and participate in physical activities with children. The work week is Monday through Friday. Compensation is $19.86–$20.65, based on position, education, and experience.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
- Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
- Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
- Ensure compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.
- Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
