About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. It’s a journey where you learn, grow, thrive, and play every day. Assistant Teachers help inspire children to become lifelong learners by supporting their daily care and development in a fun, interactive classroom. The role includes following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

• Hourly pay of $15.41–$16.01, based on position, education, and experience.
