About The Position
This role involves leading assigned staff in switchboard activities, serving as a technical resource, monitoring compliance, overseeing training, and responding to patient, staff, or visitor complaints. The position may also involve coordinating shift operations.
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 1 year of experience OR 2 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- 5+ years Switchboard Operator experience required
Responsibilities
- Lead assigned staff in performing activities or tasks relating to the switchboard.
- Serve as a technical or functional resource.
- Monitor and report compliance with policies and/or procedures.
- Oversee training of assigned associates.
- May provide input in the review and evaluation of staff performance.
- Respond to and refers problems and complaints raised by patients, staff, or visitors to the appropriate area.
- May lead or coordinate shift operations of assigned activities, resources, and/or associates.
