About The Position

The Lead Server provides quick, efficient, and pleasant food and beverage service to residents and guests. The role includes coordinating orders with the kitchen, serving food and beverages, maintaining dining and work areas, and managing servers and utility workers as needed. The position supports Senior Lifestyle’s mission to brighten and enrich the lives of those it serves through Hospitality, Excellence, Appreciation, Respect, and Teamwork.

Requirements

• ServSafe or other required local, county, or state certifications.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and often.
• Pride in food quality and presentation, as well as the cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
• Patience and ability to communicate effectively with people with different personalities.

• Previous food service experience.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate them to the kitchen, and deliver food and beverages to residents and guests in a timely manner.
• Actively bus and reset tables.
• Deliver food to residents’ rooms as needed.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, dishware, and equipment.
• Manage servers and utility workers as needed.
