Child Care Resource Center•Chatsworth, CA

About The Position

The Lead Recruiter is a senior-level, non-supervisory member of the Recruiting team who performs full-cycle recruitment and provides operational guidance, recruitment compliance oversight, reporting, and workflow coordination. The role sits between Recruiter and Recruiting Supervisor and serves as a first point of escalation for routine recruitment matters. It independently approves Recruiter checklists for candidate clearance and confirmation, conducts recruitment file audits, supports job description management and non-competitive personnel changes, and contributes to process improvement. The Lead Recruiter provides day-to-day procedural guidance to Recruiters and the HR Recruiting Assistant, but has no direct supervisory authority, including authority over hiring, discipline, or performance evaluations. The role requires maintaining the confidentiality of data, records, and information. This is an interim position expected to continue until May 31, 2027, or until the business need concludes, whichever occurs first. Employment is not intended to be permanent, and the incumbent is expected to return to their regularly assigned position. Placement may end earlier based on organizational needs or changes in business priorities. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday. It is hybrid, with work split between an office and home and scheduled reporting to the Chatsworth headquarters 1–4 times per week. The role may require occasional non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, for job fairs, outreach, recruitment events, and onboarding. Approximately 5% travel is required throughout CCRC’s service area in Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. This is a non-exempt position; overtime must be approved in advance under CCRC policy.
