About The Position

The Lead Recruiter is a senior-level, non-supervisory member of the Recruiting team, positioned between the Recruiter and Recruiting Supervisor. Under general supervision, the role performs full-cycle recruitment while providing operational guidance, recruitment compliance oversight, reporting, and workflow coordination. The Lead Recruiter conducts recruitment file audits, independently approves Recruiter checklists for candidate clearance and confirmation, serves as the first point of escalation for routine recruitment matters, and supports job description management, non-competitive personnel changes, and process improvement. The position provides day-to-day procedural guidance to Recruiters and the HR Recruiting Assistant but has no direct supervisory authority, including authority over hiring, discipline, or performance evaluations. The role requires maintaining confidentiality of data, records, and information. This interim position is expected to continue until May 31, 2027, or until the business need concludes, whichever occurs first. Employment is not intended to be permanent, and the incumbent is expected to return to their regularly assigned position. Placement may end at any time based on organizational needs or changes in business priorities. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday. It is hybrid, with reporting to the Chatsworth headquarters one to four times per week as scheduled. Occasional non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, may be needed for job fairs, outreach, recruitment events, and onboarding. The role is non-exempt, and overtime must be approved in advance under CCRC policy. Approximately 5% travel is required throughout Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties for job fairs, recruiting events, community organization meetings, trainings, and CCRC-sponsored events. The work environment includes both an office and work-from-home setting, indoors, with ambient temperature and noise levels.
