About The Position

Perry Community Church, a redeveloping church in Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania, is partnering with The Alliance Eastern PA District to replant the church. The Lead Pastor and Church Planter will lead the church in building a fresh, vibrant expression of Jesus’s work in the community and making disciples in Perry County for generations to come. This is a bi-vocational/co-vocational, part-time position offering a salary and housing allowance. A transitional pastor is currently guiding the elders and members as they discern the church’s greatest needs and how to best impact the community with the Gospel. The church seeks a restart that honors Perry’s legacy and continues its original mission. Perry Alliance Church was planted in 1989 by members of a neighboring New Buffalo Alliance Church, experienced significant growth in the early 2000s, and decided to replant in 2024 after a series of challenges.
