About The Position

As a Last Mile Operations Lead at RXO, you will coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services and assist with day-to-day operations. The role leads warehouse material handlers, supports order processing and carrier dispatch, and works to strengthen processes and improve operational efficiency. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, have experience cycle counting warehouse inventory, and can lead a warehouse team. Reliable transportation is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily.
• Use operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and create actionable plans to improve the business.
• Train material handlers to meet safety, quality, and productivity performance goals.
• Foster positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers.
• Manage dispatch of contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficiency.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to meet and exceed customer expectations.
