About The Position

As a Last Mile Operations Lead at RXO, you will coordinate with site leadership to support home delivery services and assist with day-to-day operations. The role involves leading warehouse material handlers, managing dispatch for contract carriers, and working with the Operations Manager to improve operational efficiency and customer service. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, experienced in cycle counting warehouse inventory, able to lead a warehouse team and strengthen existing processes, and have reliable transportation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics and/or transportation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation.
• Experience cycle counting warehouse inventory and ability to lead a warehouse team and strengthen existing processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 15–20 warehouse material handlers to receive, pick, and process orders daily.
• Use operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
• Train material handlers to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Build positive working relationships with the warehouse team, contract carriers, and driver helpers.
• Manage dispatch for contract carriers and resolve issues throughout the day.
• Partner with the Operations Manager to identify problem areas, including restructuring routes to improve operational efficiency.
• Train and develop contract carriers, dispatchers, and warehouse personnel to meet and exceed customer expectations.
