About The Position

As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will help ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities. You will work with cross-functional teams to maintain safety standards and achieve operational excellence, leading a shared shift to support successful launches and sorts in collaboration with Veho teams and driver partners. The role involves responding to operational changes, supporting internal teams and driver partners, and moving goods and materials as needed. Compensation is $24 per hour. The anticipated schedule is overnight.

Requirements

Own a modern smartphone and be able to navigate smartphone apps daily.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as operational needs require.

Nice To Haves

At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field.
Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks.

Responsibilities

Lead a shared shift to support successful launches and sorts in collaboration with Veho team members and driver partners.
Assess operational needs quickly and coordinate cross-functional efforts to maintain safe, seamless operations.
Use technology platforms to manage operational changes, reroutes, and logistical challenges.
Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck to move goods and materials safely and efficiently as needed.
Provide customer-focused support and assistance to driver partners and internal teams.
Communicate effectively to lead a shift.
Perform physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods, moving boxes, bending, and frequently lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
