About The Position

As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will help ensure the smooth operation of logistics activities. You will coordinate daily with cross-functional teams to maintain safety standards and operational excellence, and guide a shared shift to support successful launches and sorts in collaboration with Veho teammates and driver partners. The role requires working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, using technology to manage operational changes, and providing customer-focused support to driver partners and internal teams. The position pays $24 per hour. The anticipated schedule is overnight.

Requirements

Own a modern smartphone and be able to navigate smartphone apps daily.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field.
Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks.

Responsibilities

Guide a shared shift and coordinate with Veho teams and driver partners to support successful launches and sorts.
Assess operational needs and work cross-functionally to coordinate operations, prioritizing safety and operational success.
Use technology platforms to manage operational changes, reroutes, and logistical challenges.
Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck to move goods and materials safely and efficiently as needed.
Provide support and assistance to driver partners and internal teams with a focus on customer service.
Communicate effectively to lead a shift.
Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, moving boxes, bending, and frequently lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
