About The Position

Veho is hiring a hands-on Ground Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse associates and leads. The supervisor develops staff through coaching and training, sets standards for operational excellence, and supports team success through values-based leadership. The role is responsible for accurate reports and scheduling, cross-functional communication, and ensuring packages are sorted and launched efficiently and safely. The position works in a fast-paced, physically demanding warehouse environment and follows an anticipated Thursday-through-Sunday schedule from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Minimal travel is required.

Requirements

At least 1 year of management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and demonstrate quick thinking and physical agility.
Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, according to operational needs.
Ability to stand for the duration of a shift; frequently bend and move boxes; and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and in an environment with loud noise and fumes.

Nice To Haves

Previous management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field (at least 1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

Coach, train, and develop warehouse team members, including preparing them for future success.
Plan and prioritize team and business initiatives, manage operational and logistical challenges using technology platforms, and drive continuous improvement against milestones.
Assess operational needs and coordinate cross-functionally to maintain seamless, safe operations.
Support on-time delivery and meet expectations of customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees in a changing environment.
Schedule shifts according to business needs, operating hours, and projected volume.
Lead the team with values-based leadership to achieve operational KPIs and metrics.
Partner with other functions to support successful operations and the organization.
Ensure the accuracy of reports and maintain effective cross-functional communication.
Ensure packages are sorted and launched efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
