Supervisor, Ground Operations
About The Position
Veho is seeking a hands-on Ground Operations Supervisor to lead warehouse associates and leads. The supervisor develops staff through coaching and training, establishes operational standards, and uses values-based leadership to support the team’s success. The role is accountable for accurate reporting and scheduling, cross-functional communication, and processing sort and launch packages efficiently and safely. It requires working onsite during scheduled warehouse shifts; warehouse operating hours and shifts may vary with business needs, and schedules are subject to change. Occasional off-site work may be possible at the manager’s discretion.
Requirements
- Proficiency with technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and changing environment.
- Commitment to providing exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
- Willingness to complete a comprehensive background check.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as operational needs require.
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift; frequently bend and move boxes; and regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures and in environments with loud noise and fumes.

- At least 1 year of management experience in logistics, operations, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Coach, train, and develop warehouse team members, including preparing them for future success.
- Plan and prioritize team and business initiatives, including continuous-improvement efforts with identified milestones.
- Assess operational needs and coordinate cross-functionally to support seamless, safe operations.
- Help ensure on-time delivery and meet the expectations of customers, clients, crowdsourced drivers, and employees.
- Schedule shifts to align with operational hours, business needs, and projected volume.
- Lead the team using values-based leadership to achieve operational KPIs and metrics.
- Ensure accurate reporting and effective cross-functional communication.
- Ensure sort and launch packages are processed efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
