About The Position

Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing, part of American Residential Services (ARS), is hiring a Lead Generator to work in a National Big Box Retail Home Improvement Store near the employee’s home. The role involves engaging retail customers about heating and cooling enhancements, indoor air quality, energy conservation, and the company’s services. The Lead Generator generates leads for free in-home consultations or promotes home performance tune-ups. Training is provided, and the position is presented as an opportunity to enter the sales and trades industry and develop a career. The position is located in Folsom, California, and is part-time. Shifts are Thursday through Sunday, typically between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., though hours may vary. Weekly in-office meetings are required. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour plus commission, with average hourly earnings stated as $20–$30 after commissions. Pay is weekly by direct deposit; compensation amounts are not guaranteed.

Requirements

Ability to work independently in a retail environment.
Willingness to approach, speak with, and engage customers.
Driven personality and internal competitive spirit to exceed goals.
Willingness to work weekend, high-volume retail hours; some holidays are required.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
Reliable transportation.
Must be at least 18 years old at the date of application.
Ability to pass background screenings and a drug screen.
